The farmers’ markets. The ones who wear a lot of hats, drink a lot of coffee, and obsess over things like em dashes and font licenses.
So, what exactly is a small press?
The Short Version:
A small press is a publishing company that operates on a smaller scale than the big guys. We don’t have giant departments or celebrity book deals. What we do have is creative freedom, close author relationships, and a fierce love for the weird, wonderful, and heartfelt.
The Slightly Longer Version:
At Erendi Publishing, we work directly with our authors to shape each book — from editing and formatting to cover design and launch. There are no boardroom marketing meetings, no twelve-month waitlists, and no “please make this more marketable” rejections. Just stories we believe in, crafted by people who care.
Sometimes our books are a little quirky. Sometimes they’re quiet. Sometimes they’re about radioactive chihuahuas or cursed train stations. That’s kind of the point.
We’re here for the readers who love stories that don’t always follow the rules. And for the writers who’ve been told their work is “a bit hard to categorize.” (That’s our favorite kind.)

We’re a tiny publishing house run by a few very determined humans (and at least one haunted office chair). We publish books across genres — from speculative fiction to literary short stories to pulpy B-movie horror. Our authors are as diverse as their books, but they all have one thing in common: something worth saying.
